Well I hope everyone's holiday was great this year!

my christmas this year was bitter sweet. I finally got my own sewing machine. I've wanted one forever. I also got an art easel, a rice cooker, a bunch of art supplies, an ironing board and an iron, a crock pot, and loads of hello kitty stuff. We also found 2 puppies on the side of the road that someone had dumped off. One was a black lab pup (female) and the other a german shepard pup (male). We decided to keep them. Although the shepard pup (whom we named howler due to the excessive holwing every 2 hours when he woke up.) had extensive injury to his head and neck. We did everything we could to save him but in the end we had no choice but to put him down. *cries* we did so on the 23rd. I watched the vet put howler down. He even asked me if i wanted to hold him while he did it. I couldn't do it, my boyfriend had to hold him. I was crying so hard. And what was worse was me carrying his body all the way home so we could give him a burial in the field behind our house.

It's so sad that anyone could be so cruel to someting so helpless. There was a shelter not to far away from where we found them. It wouldn't have been any trouble at all for them to just drop them off there, instead of leaving them out in the cold to die.

sorry, I'm ranting now. I'm still a little upset about it.
that was the hardest thing i've ever had to do.

The lab pup however is in excellent condition and is doing all the cute little things a healthy puppy should do (including chewing up our furniture LOL). We named her Onix or Ixy for short. I will be posting pics of them as soon as i can.

well that's an update of how my holiday went this year. I'm still alittle heart broken about Howler but at least his suffering is over.
